Phyllisia – Money Clap (Song)

You may know Phyllisia's voice from such songs as Call on Me and Unconditional Love where she was featured along side Jah Cure.  But I was just shocked to find out she was not strictly a reggae artist.  It seems like she is a woman of many talents and here is a new track from her called Money Clap.  Give this a listen and leave your feedback.

JW & Blaze – Palance (Video)

Easily one of the biggest songs for the 2010 Carnival season in TnT.  This video is GREAT.  Entertaining and funny.  If only work was really like this.  I recommend you set this to full screen and just enjoy it.  Big up everyone in TnT palancin right now.

Twin of Twins - Only God Knows (Video)

I recently heard this song featured on the Caribbean Hot 30 show with Nikki Z where she interviewed Twins of Twins.  She talked with Curley Loxx about the loss of his son Zion that happened in 2007 and then featured this song which was written in memory.  I took a moment to find the video and decided to post it up.  Its from back in 2007 but is one of those songs that will touch people years later as well.

David Guetta ft Kid Kudi - Memories (Video)

When I first started listening to David Guetta's music I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I am.  I was totally shocked to how good this guy is and his One Love album is great.  The beats are smooth and catchy and I highly recommend you check it out and get your copy from wherever you source your music from.  This video I saw recently is an example of the good things coming from him.

The Basement Mix Episode 6

Valentines day is just around the corner so as a tribute to all of the lovers out there we start off the first half of the show with a lovers segment.  Every song for the first hour has the word 'LOVE' in the title.  I didn't realise how many there really were.  We then end the hour with the Banton Report and feature new riddims such as the Steel Frog and DNA riddim in the 2nd half of the show.  Finally we end things off with the Throwback Segment feature Sanchez.
