The Basement Mix Episode 6

Valentines day is just around the corner so as a tribute to all of the lovers out there we start off the first half of the show with a lovers segment.  Every song for the first hour has the word 'LOVE' in the title.  I didn't realise how many there really were.  We then end the hour with the Banton Report and feature new riddims such as the Steel Frog and DNA riddim in the 2nd half of the show.  Finally we end things off with the Throwback Segment feature Sanchez.

This weeks episode includes a Bob Marley tribute segment (to celebrate his birthday on Feb 6th) as well as a Mavado segment (as he will be in Toronto this weekend performing).  There was very little time to feature any new music but I'm still loving the Gyption "Hold Yuh" track badly and we end off the show with the throwback segment featuring Ninja Man.

The Basement Mix Episode 4

This weeks episode includes a small Haiti tribute section with a new collaboration song from Shaggy and friends. Big big song! We also feature a brand new song from Gyptian called Hold Yuh. Very big song! As well as ending off the show with a "more music less talk" segment so you can just enjoy the vibes.
