The Japanese referee who officiated the TnT/England match last Thursday (June 15th) may be given the boot from the World Cup permanently. Japanese referee Toru Kamikawa may have officiated in his last World Cup match...ever.
This is the scenario after his performance in Thursday’s Group B World Cup match between Trinidad and Tobago and England came under increasing fire from football pundits throughout Germany. So FIFA, the world governing body for football and the organizers of the World Cup Finals have placed Kamikawa on a list of referees whose performance will be reviewed.

News: Poison is No More
One of Trinidad and Tobago’s largest and most popular bands, Poison is no more; bandleader Michael Headley confirmed yesterday that the band has been dissolved.
Poison bandleader Micheal Headley yesterday confirmed that his large-band famous for its huge numbers has been dissolved.
The dissolution comes on the heels of the announcement of the formation of a new eight-member group, Pulse 8, all formerly of Poison.
At the forefront of Pulse 8 is Poison's long-serving communications officer, Meg Cheekes with her well-known Cheek 2 Cheek section.
Citing frustration with the length of time it takes for bands to get on to the Queen's Park Savannah stage and the fact that there are penalties for not sticking to the prescribed route, Headley confirmed "Poison is no longer coming on the road".
Poison came to the fore in 1990 when key members of the popular band Savage split into the Barbarossa and Poison factions.
The latter, headed by Headley, became increasingly popular with a record 30 sections and just under 7,000 masqueraders for Carnival 2006 with the presentation "Dreams: Beyond Your Wildest".
However, it was not without its detractors with criticisms that the band was too large and took too long to cross the stage.
News: Judge Says Press and Public May View R. Kelly Tape
Cook County Judge Vince Gaughan ruled against both prosecutors and defense lawyers for R&B superstar R. Kelly Thursday, saying he will not prevent members of the public at Kelly's child pornography trial from viewing the videotape that appears to show Kelly engaging in sex acts with a 14-year-old girl. Yes, it might mean people are watching child pornography, but to make secret the heart of the prosecution case against Kelly might undermine the public's confidence in the jury's verdict, Gaughan said.
"This is the whole crux or linchpin of the case against Mr. Kelly," Gaughan said. "Without it, the case wouldn't exist." Adding that he did not want a "star chamber," the judge said, "The press is very important and can't be excluded."
