News: Sting promoter Laing sued by police officer

A police woman on Tuesday filed a lawsuit against Isiah Laing, the promoter of the stage show Sting, in the St. Catherine Civil Court for injuries she received during Sting 2003.

The police officer, Corporal Debbie Rhoden of the Old Harbour Police Station in St Catherine, is seeking J$250,000 in damages from the promoter. She reportedly received injuries to her head and body when a bottle throwing incident brought an end to the proceedings.
