News: Gentleman to showcase his talents at Red Stripe Reggae Sumfest

When Red Stripe Reggae Sumfest's The Summit gets underway on Saturday, July 22 in Montego Bay, Gentleman will be the only German act performing. The biggest-selling reggae artiste in Germany plays the Sumfest stage with fans expecting hits like Intoxication and Superior.

The 32-year old, who resides in Cologne, Germany, has won a series of awards for his impressive reggae compilations over the years. Just last year, Gentleman picked up the Best National Male Artiste Award at the ECHO awards. He has been travelling to Jamaica regularly his teen years and has developed a love for the country, the people and the music over this time. His career began back in 1998, when he collaborated with the band Freundeskreis in producing the song Tabula Rosa. Since then, he has become one of the most popular reggae artistes in the world.
