News: Marley's 61st birthday anniversary celebrations

Africa will once again be the main focus for the 2006 birthday celebrations for reggae's most venerated icon Bob Marley. For the second consecutive year, the celebrations will take the title of one of the maestro songs, 'Africa Unite'.

Like this year, when the legendary superstar 60th birthday was celebrated with a month long festivities in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa, it will be another ostentatious affair on Sunday, February 5, 2006 in Accra, Ghana. Bob Marley was born on February 6.
