News: S.Q.U.I.S.H. - Wetter is better

"NEITHER THE TORRENTIAL downpour, nor a formidable lightning display could deter party goers from S.Q.U.I.S.H., held at Morgan's Harbour on Sunday. In fact, Mother Nature's showers actually assisted in the party's festivities, and solidified the meaning of the title, 'Sea Quest to Uncover the Inspired, Sophisticated, & High-spirited!'

Those who weren't attired in soaking cloth, threw caution and excess clothing to the wind, literally dancing up a storm in the Sunday evening thunderstorm. Though the event was soca-oriented, selectors did not stick to the format, playing popular genres of hip hop, and dancehall, much to the delight of party patrons.

Held by the BOOM network in collaboration with 'Tribe,' a Trinidadian carnival costume company, the high-class event was also attended by prominent members of society, including C.E.O. and Chairman of Dehring Bunting and Golding, Peter Bunting, and the newly-appointed C.E.O. of Cable & Wireless, Rodney Davis.

"We're not looking for large turnouts at the events, but to lure a core group of what I refer to as the 'innovators' of society," stated the head of BOOM network, André Bello."
