News: Low energy at 'Ele's' birthday bash
"FANS, FRIENDS, AND well-wishers came out in droves to celebrate the birthday of O'Neal Bryan, otherwise known as Elephant Man, at the Mas Camp venue, St Andrew, on Saturday.
Surprisingly though, although there were numerous artistes in attendance, including Bounty Killer, Wayne Marshall, Vybz Kartel, and CeCile, there were no performances. This was a contrast to last year's instalment of the Energy God's birthday celebration, where there were a number of stage performances including stints from Vybz Kartel, Bounty, Mr. Lex and Elephant Man himself. This year however, not even the 'birthday boy' appeared on-stage.
There was also a minor altercation involving Vybz Kartel, which seemed to flare the anger of 'The Warlord'. Several attempts by THE STAR to get a comment or information about the incident were unsuccessful.
"All good...It's all good," replied a melancholy Elephant Man in response to his views of the party proceedings. Despite the lack of performances, patrons seemed quite entertained however with musical juggling from a variety of selectors, including Stone Love, Coppershot, Ras & Biggy, Dangazone, DJ Sunshine, and Digital Chris."
