"LOS ANGELES, USA (AFP) - The wife of US movie star and comic Eddie Murphy on Friday filed for divorce from her famous husband, his publicist said.

Nicole Murphy filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court seeking to dissolve her 12-year-old marriage to the star of such films as Beverly Hills Cop, The Nutty Professor and Doctor Doolittle."
