Hosted CHRY 105.5 FM on July 2nd.

This week I got the call to host Radio dubplate on CHRY 105.5 FM saturday morning.  As usual it was a jam packed show that was fun.  This saturday however Billy Slaughter from Stone Love passed by to promote an event in the community.  This is probably the 2nd or 3rd time I've actually met up with him.  But I must say Stone Love is one of my all time FAVORITE sounds.  Just because any dance they play... they mash up.

 

The first picture is with me and Billy Slaughter, the 2nd picture is just Billy Slaughter doing his thing.  You can't have de man come by and not drop some tunes.  (For you DJ's out there that are probably lookin at the mixer its a Numark CDN-88 CD player and a Behringer VMX 1000 mixer in a portable case. Google it. :))

 

One thing that I have to mention is we premiered for the first time in Canada (as Slaughter put it) a new concious tune by an artist called Egyption.  I've never heard of him before so I decided to look on google and all I can find was [ this ], I think that maybe the artist, but not sure.  All I can say is the tune was wicked and I wished I recorded the show to be able to put up a sample but the song will eventually come out.  It was so new he didn't even have the name of it.  If you heard the show you know what I'm talking about.
